A thriving economy depends on having a skilled and ready workforce in place. Our convening organization, the Macomb County Department of Planning & Economic Development (MCDPED), has a  Fueling the Talent Pipeline program that connects employers with schools to provide meaningful career exploration experiences for students. Through these partnerships, students gain greater insight into how their interests and talents align with career possibilities and an understanding of the credentials needed to create a prosperous future. As a result, students are prepared to graduate from high school with an industry recognized certification and/or college credit.
