CLPS is a small district, with approximately 2,400 students. This allows us the extraordinary ability to know all of our staff by name and to work with our staff to offer students opportunities they would not normally receive in a district this size. 
 
In addition to its size, another strength of CLPS is the diversity of its student population. The district is a direct reflection of the community it serves and that community is rich in diversity. Because of this, our staff also has the opportunity to learn and grow from our students.
 
An additional point of pride is that we reward the hard work and dedication of our staff. Many building level and central office administrators have been promoted from previous jobs within the district. We are proud of the people who work with us.
 
Though we are proud of our staff, we continuously seek the absolute best candidates to fill every position. To accomplish that purpose, our Board of Education has given us the ability to offer an extremely competitive benefits package, and our educators are among the highest paid in the state.
